The Andrea Doria

Located approximately 110 miles East of the coast of Montauk Point, the Andrea Doria has been called "The Everest of Shipwrecks".  This is because it has settled at 160ft to top of wreck and requires the use of mixed gases and staged decompression stops which are far outside of the recreational diving limits. The Andrea Doria sank in 1956 and since then it has taken the lives of 15 divers.  Although it has been known as a gem for treasure hunters, little is left to find of great value on this deep wreck.  If you have any experiance on this wreck, or any comments I would love to hear some stories!!!
